Every now and then in my endless quest to track down nice classic cars. a real gem will surface and I just think wow. should I keep this one? Just recently purchased from a good friend of mine this is one such car. and to be honest. if I didn't have so many toys I would definitely keep this one. This is just a really nice old 'S' type Jaguar. it cruises along effortlessly and I've used it every day since buying it. sunroof open and the original radio off so as to hear the lovely exhaust note. Oil pressure is consistently good at operating temperature showing 35 on idle and 50 driving steadily. The transmission shifts perfectly. the brakes pull up hard and straight. in fact everything works as it should with the exception of the clock. The original colour of Golden Sand metallic looks absolutely stunning with only a couple of very very minor paint defects. chips etc and I do mean tiny. probably me just being picky when you consider the car is almost 50 years old!  All the chrome is nice. the interior is pure class with that lovely old Jag smell. the engine bay is nice and clean and tidy. as is the boot and spare wheel well etc. The exhaust system is almost new as are the matching set of tyres all round. indeed this Jaguar has had a fortune spent on it and I have the invoices to prove. All in all a really nice almost 50 year old car and an absolute joy to drive. Just give me a call (Don) on 07889 054103  with any questions or for an appointment to view.
