This stunning Schwarz Black 350 SEL was supplied by the factory in Germany in the spring of 1979 to the renowned international property developmer Stephen Saady. Specified from new with a KMS odometer the vehicle was used as prinicple transport between Mr Saady's European homes and business'. The list of contact numbers Mr Saady used to use makes for an interesting element to the cars history. The House in Geneva. House in Southern France. Scotland Yard amongst the old "01" prefix numbers used back in the day.

Today these cars are super rare with a fantasic combination of long wheel base (SEL). a thumping V8 and this of course this particular car has the added advantage of regular suspension rather than the complex and eye wateringly expensive to maintain hydralic or air suspension. Respected journalist Martin Buckley has written an interesting article in the April 2014 edition of Classic & Sportscar praising the virtues of the smaller V8's over the complex 6. 9. The issue has an interesting secondary feature on the rise of these S Class Benz'.

In 2009 ownership passed to a Mercedes-Benz Club member and prior to the the Saady family have been the only custodians. We absolutely love this car. Long wheel base. V8. Black with Black it looks and sounds totally imposing and draws admiration wherever it's parked or driven. The condition is as good as you see here in the photographs having been through our preparation facility here. The car is now ready to show. transport you in comfort (air con) to your house in Europe where it would grace any collection.
