EXTERIOR
The E220 is finished in stunning black paintwork with a contrasting grey lower sill. partitioned with a line of subtle chrome trim. After two days in our detailing bay and now shining under our showroom spotlights the black paintwork is presenting a beautiful glassy finish. There are some light stone chips to the usual areas on the paintwork however nothing excessive for a car of this maturity. The black cloth soft top is in great condition and works perfectly. folding away quickly and neatly with a push of the interior button and concealed under the leather bound cover.

INTERIOR
Upholstered in black leather. the seats in the E220 remain perfectly clean and unworn. the driver's seat bolsters still feel supportive and have not succumb to the usual wear and tear. The rear seats look like they have seen remarkably little use. the leather still feeling soft and supple to the touch. the same can be said for both front and rear leather armrests. The centre console. dashboard. steering wheel and doors are garnished with beautifully lacquered walnut trim. complimenting the black interior perfectly. On close inspection the only damage to be found is some cracking to the lacquer on the steering wheel that could do with some refurbishment to match the neat condition of the other the trim in the car. The switchgear throughout the car remains free from excessive wear and all the electrics are still working as they should.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
With every MOT certificate having been kept and a full service record verifying the light but regular use. the 2. 99cc 4 cylinder engine is in fine fettle. firing up on command and settling to an effortless idle immediately. Under the bonnet it is clear to see the engine has been well maintained throughout its life. looking tidy and well detailed. Having only covered 33k easy miles. the 4-speed automatic gearbox still feels smooth and precise to operate. shifting between gears with ease.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
At the corners this E220 comes with the desirable 17" AMG alloy wheels. coupled with the specially tuned 'Sportline' suspension option that provide a far superior road handling experience over the standard setup and also help give the car a more sporty stance and appearance. All four alloy wheels are in perfect condition with no stone chips to be found whatsoever having recently been refurbished and presenting a beautiful gleaming polished lip. They are shod in Matching Avon ZZ3 tyres that all appear to have a good amount of tread remaining. All of the discs. pads and ABS system remain in fine condition. pulling the car up quickly and smoothly.

HISTORY FILE
Purchased from new by the current owner this Mercedes E220 was first registered on the 24th of March 1997 by the supplying dealer Lancaster Lakeside Mercedes-Benz. In the hands of the same owner all its life the E220 boasts a fantastic fully stamped service history. the first 5 stamps to be found are from the supplying dealer and the most recent by Mercedes-Benz authorised workshop Waterhouse at 29k miles which included an automatic transmission fluid change. Every tax disc and MOT certificate has been lovingly kept in the history file tracing the limited mileage from new. The Mercedes-Benz document holder containing the owners manuals is also still present.
