I wanted a first gen Camaro that would truly be a nice car when restored. not a patched up rust bucket. I believe this car spent most of its life in AZ. but I don't have documentation.

The car has an awesome stance and looks great going down the road. The Boyd Coddington wheels and fresh tires give it a cool resto-mod look. Lights and signals all function properly-including dome and rear console lights. Speedo and fuel gauge work as well. Heat and ww wipers don't. Up close. you can see some body imperfections and its obvious the paint job is low quality. Original color was blue. Please look at the detailed pics. It looks like small repairs have been made in lower corners behind wheels. just above left door handle and a poor attempt at patching the original antenna hole on the right front fender. The interior and door/window seals need replaced.

The car has power steering. no power brakes.

The motor is a 350 (not original) with double hump heads and an edelbrock carb. The motor history is unknown to me. but it sounds strong. starts well and runs smoothly. OD says 25k actual miles are unknown on car and motor. The headers are new as is the 3" exhaust system. I believe its a Magnaflow system.  The exhaust currently dumps down before the rear axle with the over-axle sections also included in the sale.

The transmission is a turbo 350 with a B&M shifter. The shifter is difficult to use if you aren't familiar with them.

The car does leak a small amount of oil and transmission fluid. It appears the tranny leak is the pan gasket. I will try to get it repairs before the end of this auction.

I recently purchased the car to install an LS3 motor and restore. I've driven it only once on a small test drive before purchasing. Knowing I planned to add a new drive train. I didn't concern myself too much with the current set-up. Now plans have changed and it's for sale. In short. you are looking at an excellent building block which needs a thorough restoration. but could be driven as is and worked on later!
