1961 M422A1 Mighty Mite. serial number 1356. This is one of the first M422A1's that rolled off the production line. possibly one of the first 10. I have talked with several people. and this Mite. serial number 1356. is the earliest known A1 model in existence. I was told by another source that the M422A1 serial numbers started at 1350. so if this is true. this would be number 7. Very complete. and has all the hard to find parts. The Mite is in need of a restoration. as you can see by the photos. I've included 40 photos below. so please check them out. so you can see exactly what you are getting. I was planning on restoring this myself. but I just don't have the time with all the other projects I have going. So. I'm going to pass it along to someone who does have the time. who will give this rare military vehicle the restoration that it deserves. Some of the engine parts were taken off the engine. but I still have them in a box. and they will go to the new owner. Obviously. due to the engine being partially disassembled. the Mite is currently not running. Everything else that I have available for this Mite. is in the photos. If you don't see it. that means the vehicle doesn't come with it. I can load the Mite on the buyer's trailer. I am willing to ship it. but the buyer is responsible for lining up the shipping and is responsible for all shipping costs. Let me know if you have any questions. and I will do my best to answer them. A $500 paypal deposit is due within 8 hours of the auction ending. and the balance (in the form of cash or cashier's check) is due within 7 days of auction's close. I will give the buyer 3 months to get the Mite picked up. I do have the original title. and it will be included in the sale. Thanks for looking.
