1950 Chevrolet 3100 Shortbed Pick Up

 

Thanks for your interest in the Chevrolet pick up.   We purchased the truck in Utah.   It was a solid. rust free body in good running and driving condition.   It was a perfect candidate for restoration.

 

The extensive restoration has been done over the past few years.   It was completely disassembled down to the frame.   The body was completely taken apart and stripped.   The frame and suspension were sandblasted to bare metal and repainted.    The cab and each panel was repainted to its original Mariner Blue and reassembled.   A new oak bed floor was installed along with all new weatherstripping. fender welting and all new chrome front to back.

 

The interior was restored with all new components.   The interior of the cab was repainted in custom Custard with new black seat upholstery. door panels. rubber mat and steering wheel.   Other new components include window regulators. door handles. window cranks. dash trim and glove box door.   The speedometer and gauges are brand new.

 

It has a stock Chevrolet 216 inline six with a custom Fenton header and new dual exhaust.   Mechanically. it is in very good running and driving condition.   It starts right up with no knocks or smoke.   The engine was nicely detailed with several new components.   It has all new wiring.  The 4-speed manual transmission shifts smooth and has a new clutch.   The stock drum brakes are new front and rear.   The original steel wheels were sandblasted and painted.   New Coker wide whitewall tires were mounted with new Chevrolet caps and trim rings.

Thousands of dollars and hundreds of man hours were put into the restoration.   It wasn't built to be a trailer queen. but to be a nice driver for weekend car shows and maybe a little light hauling.    Nice stock trucks are on the rise.

 

 

 

We have set a very realistic reserve but are open to an offer prior to the end of the auction.   Not looking for trades at this time.

Classic & Collectible Cars was established in 1982 in North Las Vegas by Larry Nicholl. Larry had recently retired after 22 years of military service in the US Air Force. Along with his four sons. he specialized in sale of classic Mustang parts. restoration and the sale of collector cars.
