1958 1959 Renault Dauphine French Classic Car

 

This vehicle is in good condition and it has been restored about 80-85%. The mileage is unknown. It does need minor things such as wipers. bottom front turn signals.  I did put new taillights. new carburetor. new gas tank. new windshield. There are other minor parts that I have bought new; to bring up to its condition. I have taken a lot of pictures so you can check it out in detail. This will be a great daily driver or perhaps make a great addition to a collection.   Regarding paperwork I have title from a 1992 and three bill of sales with it.   I paid DMV fees. so there shouldn't be anymore aside from transfer title fee.   Even though the title says that it is a 1959. I have used 1958 as a reference year to order several parts. I was able to install the vinyl trim on the door edges which holds on the headliner and it looks very good.   The car is drums all around and it is a 4 speed manual transmission. I am not sure about the engine displacement but I have added a picture of the tag that it has. Sorry about the first pictures where it has the bumper upside down. On one of the last pictures you can see that I have corrected this. Hopefully this will help. Thanks

- I have also installed a new water pump and electric gas pump.
- There are no 3 bill of sales. only a non operational permit and a clear title.
- The engine is called a Ventoux. we believe it is a 1. 5L but we are not 100% sure.
