 MKII Mini Cooper has been restored to show standard condition. The restoration has been carried out to a very high standard to factory specification and we are pleased to confirm this genuine Cooper still retains its original body shell and original engine.
The body shell was completely stripped and sand blasted. The restored body shell was fitted with new wings. floors. front panel. sills. A panels and rear valance and then professionally painted in its original colour scheme of Tartan Red Number 1 with a black roof. Brand new bumpers and a new chrome grill were fitted and new old stock rear lamps. The upholstery is largely original with the exception of a new driver's seat base cover. new foam and new carpets. The car has a new boot board as original and it retains the original speedometer.

Mechanically our Mini is exceptional. The 998cc engine has been fully re-conditioned with new crank. bearings. pistons. timing gear. core plugs and unleaded conversion. The gearbox has been fully re-conditioned with new bearings. oil seals and is the correct 3 syncro type gearbox. The Mini has had new rear radius arms. new rear sub frame. reconditioned hydrolastic suspension units with new pipe work. new front sub frame with new bushes. ball joints and track rod ends. The Cooper has had new discs and callipers. new brake pads and shoes. all new pipe work. new master cylinder and new wheel cylinders. A new clutch was fitted and also a new fuel pump. exhaust. water pump. dynamo. re-conditioned carburettors. distributor and drive shafts.

The Mini is in truly outstanding condition and also presents superbly on the underside with red floors. The Mini drives and performs perfectly and has covered around 1000 miles since completion of the restoration.
