1939 SINGER SUPER 12 SALOON

HI WELCOME TO MY AUCTION OF A VERY RARE 1939 SINGER SUPER 12 SALOON.
That rare the cars model is not even mentioned on the "How many cars left" web site.     The body along with the chassis is in excellent condition. The paint work is in excellent condition. Defiantly no need for a respray for years to come. All the doors close properly. The chrome work over all is in a good condition.     The engine has had a check over with plugs. points and tappets all being adjusted.  Along with a new fan belt. nbsp;carburetor strip down. cleaned and re-calibrated. The single overhead camshaft  engine starts first time and runs smoothly. No smoke on start up or when hot. There is good oil pressure. Exhaust system is in a good condition. Clutch is good along with prop shaft and rear axle. No funny noises. The 4 speed gear box is good. with the syncro good in all 3 gears up and down the box. No syncro on first gear.  The brakes have had an overhaul with new wheel cyl seals. and brake shoes being replaced as needed.                  A new master cyl has also been fitted.     The car sits on good tyres all round.      The interior is in very good condition. The leather seats--no rips or tears. no sagging or baggy parts. Just a good patina and a nice smell to them. The art deco door panels are also in very good condition. All the door windows wind up and down.  Proper good quality fitted carpets fitted. Head lining good with the exception of one or two small minor age related holes. The dials work properly. along with the panel lights. horn. nbsp;illuminated traffickers arms. nbsp;side lights and main beam. and windscreen wipers. The car also has a working hand throttler.     The car comes with a jack. wheel brace. tarting handle. grease gun. and its own hand pump tyre inflater. nbsp;    The car has had three former keepers before me. And the registration number is transferable.      The paper work for the car comes with a shell lubrication red wallet from Maidments Garage.  Selsey . with services from 25932 miles 3/4/1964 to 37617 miles on 14/4/1971.                                                                                The original green log book dating back to 25/3/1939.      A bill of sale for the car 28-October 1938 to be delivered by March 25 1939 from a Sharwood Motors.  Ealing. W5 for the total sum of £249. 00p.       An invoice for over £5000. dated 1/9/2004. for work done on the car.       The car is taxed till Feb/1015       The car is MOT till  Feb/2015. So all in all a unique pre-war 4 seater saloon in very good condition.
Now the bad bits------ A £200 deposit to be paid within 24hrs of the auction ending with payment either paypal or bankers draft. And the remainder in cash only on collection. If the deposit has not been paid within the 24hr  time i will offer the car to the next highest bidder or re auction the car. I have advertised the car else where so reserve the right to with drawl the car if my price was met. NO BUY IT NOW PRICE. its an auction.
