I bought this car last year. It had been neglected and was sitting in a barn in France. It had moved to France with its owners but remained UK registered. I rescued and shipped it to the UK.

Before I bought it. it had had a new n/s front wing. headlight and indicator. It had inertia seat belts fitted. a recent radiator. five decent Firestone tyres and the leather-like upholstered front seats had  been nicely repaired.

It had been restored and welded in the past. but it now needed more work. including welding on the o/s floor and on the o/s sill. It needed a brake overhaul and the electrics revising to reach MOT standard. This has all been done. The rusty. blowing rear sections of the exhaust have been renewed and a new unit has replaced the leaking clutch master cylinder.

It passed its MOT in mid August 2013.

I put 12 months tax on it and have been driving and improving it since. It has now had new wiper blades. The underlay and carpets have all been replaced. I've had the wheels balanced. freed up the stiff window winders and renewed the stone chip paint on the sills and in the wheel arches. It has recently had new front brake discs and pads. a new n/s rear wheelbearing and new rear brake shoes. It is now a good looking. comfortable. reliable car.

The soft top is good. with no rips. There is no tonneau cover. The car also has a good looking. shiny black hard top. which fits over the soft top. not instead of it.

The car has had a re-spray in the past. There are a few superficial rust spots. but the car looks great and turns heads wherever it goes. It starts. drives and stops very well. The steering is tight. the gearbox is neat and all the electrics work. There is a radio. but no speakers or aerial.

This is a very nearly 40 year old car. It's a rare. original. RHD 304s Cabriolet. I have the new V5C. I'm the registered keeper and it is at it's registered address. It's in a great colour. a nice. bright. mustardy yellow and it's in good. useable condition. with a current MOT and Tax. I've driven nearly 500 trouble free miles since the MOT.

I am selling to fund a new car renovation project.

The car is at Monmouth. South East Wales. at the car's registered address. I am happy to take potential buyers out on a test drive by appointment before the end of the auction.
