This 1960 Studebaker Hawk is a true time capsule! It is a two owner car and has been garage kept since it was bought from the first owner in 1974. It is completely original throughout! Although it has obvious signs of use. it has been well maintained in running condition and carefully protected from the elements for the past 39 years. Odometer shows 10196 miles but I am sure that is 110196 miles. Prior to purchase in 1974 it was repainted with original color “white sand” paint (some flaws in paint are obvious with close inspection). This car also had some body work done on the rear of both front fenders prior to purchase. that is obvious upon close inspection (may have been some early rust since it is behind both front wheels at the bottom).   As shown in the photos. the carpet needs replaced in the front. there is also a very small dent in one piece of trim on the drivers side. a small piece missing from the trim on the bottom passenger-side grill area. and a small flaw in the edge of the hood on the drivers side (closed it on a tool!).   It has recently had the carburetor rebuilt. new brakes. engine tune up. new battery and cables. and new mufflers.

With very little effort this would be an ideal daily driver.  It would also be a perfect candidate for a complete restoration.   There is no rust noticeable with the exception of some very light surface rust in a few places around the trunk seal (visible in photos).   Whatever was corrected by the body work on the front fenders has not changed in the past 39 years.

The engine runs and idles very smooth. There is some light smoke from both exhaust pipes when running (also shown in photos).

You would be hard-pressed to find a better. or more original. 1960 Studebaker Hawk for this price.
