Excellent condition for age. Recently fully serviced with new brake calipers to front. Bought as a second car for the wife but hardly used hence reason for sale. Wear to drivers seat which has been repaired but generally in very good condition. There are a few areas where the car has been touched up. Hard top and soft top with stands. Last owner 19 years and previously celebrity owned. Cricket fans apply! Wall mounted stands for hartop included. Private plate not included in sale. Car is cream in colour and not white - sorry but the pictures bleach the colour. Thanks for looking. Any questions please ask. Viewing is strongly recommended aswell as any inspection.

Unfortuantely I don't have the original service book and I know that the previous 2 owners and Freddie Truman serviced the car at their local garages in Yorkshire. Prior to that the car was owned by Stringfellow and I can't imagine he wouldn't service with the main dealer. I'm sure any main dealer will be able to trace its history. However. as mentioned Truman traded the car in to Charles Sidney (Merc main dealership) and they would have sold the car to the previous owner fully serviced. I have MOT's dating from 1990 - 2004 which confirm mileage. After that the previous owners wife died and the car lay in his garage untaced or MOT'd till I came along and bought it. In effect it's only done 4/500 miles since. I had the car trailered down to our main local agent here in East Grinstead (Crawley Down Group) and spent £1500 in servicing the car last Nov/Dec to get it roadworthy. The car really is stunning to look at but is just far too 'flashy' for my wife. I have several other classics which I use and I think the sensible thing to do is to let it go to someone who will use it and enjoy it. It's been in a carcoon for the last 3 months and it fired up first time when I started it last week. I should point out after reading the MOT certificate that the front two tyres are near their legal limit hence will need to be replaced at some point. There are no other advisories.
