1972 Volvo 1800ES Blue Plate

  I have this rare 72 Volvo 1800ES for sale.
Its a blue plate. alifornia car since new.

 A bit of history on the car.
I bought it 2 years ago with the intention of fixing it up. Ive chosen this car because it had one owner and it was very original. The mileage is 83k miles and believed to be original according to the original owner.
 
The Body:
 Ive taken it apart and it was sent off to the paint shop. They stripped it to the metal and repainted it to its original color. Looks great.
No bondo or filler was used on the car. Its very straight and rust free.
 The undercarriage is clean. Rocker covers. loor boards and frame rails are clean and free of rust.
Jacking points intact.
All the windows. rim. umper etc was taken off.
 I installed new rubber seals around the front and rear windshields. ew seals around the door jambs. ew seals around the butterfly and the rear qt windows.
The chrome looks good and shines nice.
 Refinished the factory original wheels in silver and installed 4 new tires. ess then 100 miles on them.

Interior:
 Installed new mercedes white perforated headliner.
New black sun visors. ew rear view mirror.
New german double loop carpet with black piping.
New door cards because the old ones were warped from heat and age.
 Upper and lower dash recovered. ooks great.
Front seats completely redone with perforated inserts.
 All the interior work was done 2 weeks ago. till smells new.
Originally an AC car. Compressor was removed. dont have it. Everything else is there.

Mechanicals:
B20 engine runs strong with fresh tune up.
Doesnt leak or smoke. ulls strong.
 Has great oil pressure. ndicator stays in the middle when its warmed up.
New points. ondenser. attery. lugs. alve cover gasket. il pan gasket and oil change within the last 30 days.
 4 speed manual transmission with electronic overdrive. Shifts great through all the gears and the electric overdrive works fine.
New brake pads. tops great.

Overall the car runs and drives great. I have some extra parts that'll go with the car.
Clock doesnt work. oesnt have any speakers. lthough it has the original radio. I didnt want to cut holes in the door cards. Rpm gauge is a bit bouncy from time to time. Please have realistic expectations. ts a used car.
