hi there all.

so this is an ad for my much loved 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback GT-350R Modern Clone with ~14k miles (3k since second restoration).

a quick rundown (front to back):

painted code correct Wimbledon White and Guardsman Blue stripes (factory spec) which was wet-sanded post painting and GT-350 decals appliedcarbon fiber front valence (GT-350 spec). hood with functional scoop. and fenders. stainless steel hoodpins347 stroker engine (dyno'd [with sheet] at 323hp at the wheels) with aluminum radiator and heads. msd ignition with 650cfm holly carb leading to full length headerswilwood disk brakes and master cylindershelby front suspension reinforcementkrager 5 spoke rimstremec TKO 5 speed manual transmissionfull interior with deleted rear seats and radio. roll bar. including courtesy lighting and dome light (with timed auto dim)recaro racing buckets with racing harness beltscustom built subframe connectors to allow for side dump exhaust (utilizing flow-correct super 80's from flowmaster)Currie 9" rear end with posi and 3. 23:1 gearingfunctional side scoops (route cold air to rear brakes)rhino-lined rear trunkrelocated battery to passenger rear
receipts for every single thing done or added to the car from 1994 on (first major restoration).  totaling around 75k. around 85k to build from ground up today.
i've got receipts for the engine. wheels. seats. drive-line and suspension that total out to just under $25k in today's money.

this car is a beast (loud and *fast* in upper rpms) and can cruise (quiet in lower rpms) whenever and where ever. i've taken her on 700 mile road trips without an issue. even driven in 115 degree weather (palm springs) without so much as a blip.

currently weighs in at a little over 2900lbs (~8. 9lbs per hp. very similar to 2014 GT with 5. 0 engine at 8. 6lbs/hp).

i love this car. but i don't drive her much anymore as i live downtown and i'm planning on building a new all-out version of her from the ground up as a MkII. gotta pull together funds for that and it's a bit silly to have 2 cars so similar. clean and clear title.

i've also got tons of photos from the second restoration showing her being completely rust free and ready for many many years of enjoyment.

also included with the sale is a 18' car tent (collapsible with tools. $250) and a CoverKing custom outdoor cover ($500).

i can take photos of anything needed in particular. or answer any questions along with showing the car downtown san diego. all reasonable offers welcome.

cheers.
