MotoeXotica Classic Cars offers another spectacular De Ville convertible with this 1970 Cadillac de Ville you see pictured. This classic Caddy is in great shape and will add to any collection it's put into. The De Ville is from the dry states of Arizona and California with an actual mileage. Box A (58. 18) Arizona title.

This is the last year of the third generation of De Villes. After that generation. De Villes made up 76 percent of all Cadillac sales — no one model would have that success for Cadillac again. In 1970. a facelift included a grille with 13 vertical blades set against a delicately cross-hatched rectangular opening. Wheel discs and winged crest fender tip emblems were new. Exterior distinctions came from a De Ville script above the rear end of the belt molding and from the use of long rectangular back up light lenses set into the lower bumper.

The correct black vinyl convertible top looks slick and goes up and down easily with the flick of a switch. The Cotillion White exterior looks fantastic and has had a high-quality base coat clear coat finish. hand-rubbed and buffed to a mirror finish. The chrome brightwork shows minor pitting and scratches but adds to the originality of this De Ville. This convertible sits on four Cadillac wheels wrapped in Runway Radial Enduro-75 tires measuring P235/75R15.

The new black leather seats were redone by Robnetts Upholstery and look fantastic with no rips or tears. The power windows work wonderfully as well. The gauges are all original. and the convertible has benefitted from a new radiator and new A/C compressor. The trunk has also been redone and looks clean.

Under the hood. the big block 472-CID Cadillac V8 engine powers this De Ville. According to Hagerty. a 375 HP. 472-CID engine became the standard for De Ville. This big block engine is mated with a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission.

This car also comes with the original owner's manual and the original warranty brochure. This brochure shows this car was delivered new to Marvin K. Brown Cadillac. Inc. in San Diego on April 17. 1970. More than $9. 00 in maintenance receipts show the care and attention paid to maintaining this classic Caddy.
