Lotus Elan S4 Sprint Soft Top / Hard Top Coupe. The Lotus was registered On the 18/02/1970 and has had 6 previous owners and all the names and date changes are provided. The previous owner bought it in July 1996 after it had a major restoration done. The restoration was done between the end of 1994 and April 1996 at which point the vehicle was MOT'D at 18. 84 miles. There are many photo's of the restoration including all receipt's for parts used as well. The car was converted to disc brakes all round during the restoration. There is also a letter from Lotus stating that they think that it is not the original engine. There are all MOT'S from August 1985 when the mileage was 1. 36 and it goes right through to present day with the mileage being 21. 44. The last owner has had the vehicle since 1996 and I can confirm that the vehicle has never been out in the rain since it's restoration. Loads of receipt's and history with the car and comes with the proper Lotus workshop manual and has the Colin Chapman signed steering wheel. Please bear in mind this is a 1970 car and it has been 17 years since it was restored and is not in mint condition but in saying that it would not take a lot to put it right. Dry Stored in a heated garage by the previous owner. This Lotus in our opinion is a modest presentable roadworthy Elan. Please come and look at the lotus as it is a 1970 car. Any questions just ask.
