1956 Chevy Pickup

Up for auction is a Killer 56 Chevy pickup!  This truck gets a TON of attention and is an absolute blast to cruise in! It has the look that everyone wants. and all the right modern upgrades to make it drive like a newer truck.   This a one you can drive. use. and enjoy without a ton of worry.   Spend less time cleaning and polishing. and more time cruising.   This truck gets more looks than a $100k street rod!

The truck has been upgraded with power steering. power brakes. disc brakes. tilt wheel. independent front suspension. and a v8 with an automatic trans. but looks like it has been baking in the desert for 50 years.

The professionally done faux-tina finish looks amazing!  People are blown away when they realize it's paint.   The finish is very detailed and many many hours were spent creating the look. The bumpers. grill. wheels. and dash are finished in gloss which complement the patina well.

The truck has a Camaro sub frame with a new set of dropped spindles. The rear end is a later model GM with lowered leaf springs.

The motor is a strong running 307 small block backed by a 350 turbo trans.   It has a 50's Caddy style batwing air cleaner.   The underside of the hood was all painted to match the outside.

The truck rolls on a new set of 15” smoothies. wrapped in new Coker wide whites. The truck has a wider wheel and bigger tire in the rear.   New 40 Ford caps and ribbed trim rings were added.

The interior of this truck looks awesome! Everything inside the cab was repainted.   The dash was done in gloss.   The seat was stripped down. frame sprayed gloss black. refoamed. and wrapped in white vinyl with black and white pleated houndstooth.   The truck has a late model tilt column.   A brand new 59 impala steering was added to complete the look. A modern style heater was installed. along with a new modern style wiper motor.   The windshield was replaced. the side and rear glass is original.   New chrome door handles and window cranks were installed inside the cab.   The exterior chrome door handles are also new.

The bed had new red oak installed and looks great!

The truck runs and drives well.   It steers and stops easy.   It cruises highway speeds without a problem and tracks straight down the road.

Overall this is an awesome truck.   You can take it to you local car cruise and draw a crowd. or use it to run to the hardware store (where you still will draw a crowd) to pick up a load of whatever.   It would also be a great promotional piece for a business. stick your logos on the doors and put it to work!  Whatever you're looking to use it for. its going to be fun.   Someone is really going to enjoy this one!
