This FIA 289 ERA is a recreation of one of the 5 team Cobras that won the FIA World Championship in '64-‘65.   It is a beautiful well sorted recreation of team Shelby comp car CSX2301.   Painted in Viking blue with maroon team nose stripe.   Engine bay interior and exterior all in excellent condition.   Titled as a 1964.

 

4 Weber 48 IDA carburetors atop a COBRA alum. lettered intake manifold

GT40 302 long block

Ford racing GT40X303 heads (mild port)

ARP head bolt kit

Ford racing valve train 1. 6 roller rockers

5. 0L SX-1 series roller cam (with cam card)

Canton oil pump and pick up

Canton road race oil pan 7 qt.

Canton windage tray and scrapers

50 oz. chrome fluid balancer

March pulleys

Engine oil cooler and oil filter relocater

Mallory electronic distributor

ERA engine header and side pipes

Holly electric fuel pump and regulator

Vintage racing (steel) bell housing (wedge 289J a)

Super duty T-5 trans and correct shifter

Heavy duty alum. Radiator and cooling fan thermostatically controlled with dash on off override

Correct Harrison cooling expansion tank

3 Gurling brake and clutch reservoir cans

Forward braced roll bar frame mounted

Leather heated vintage racing seat 5 point harness

Leather heated Cobra passenger seat 4 point harness

Correct FIA comp dash Stewart-Warner gauges and a Sun tachometer

Aircraft style toggle switches as original

Heater (3 speed)

Wiper (2 speed)

Fresh air ducts for foot wells

Power port in dash

Original style mirrors

15” motolite wood steering wheel with correct center

Tunnel cover

Le mans fuel filler cap

Correct chrome valve covers as raced in '64 & '65 with extension on heads to accommodate roller rockers

Have wing windows and sun visors with all necessary hardware
