Refinements this year's F-model included the newly designed 413ci V8 with exceptionally unique Cross-Ram intake fitted with dual Carter AFB 4bbl carburetors positioned over the opposing cylinder heads! These intake runners measured 30” long and helped the engine produce massive torque in the middle rpm range. Additional design cues for 1960 included the unibody chassis construction. lowered front headlights. and the pronounced quarter panel fins tilting outward at the rear accented with the faux spare tire on the trunk lid. All in all. Chrysler only produced 969 hardtops. and 248 convertibles.
