Seller's notes: Restored in 1991 by R.S. Coachworks to ' Coombs' style specification. Louvred bonnet and cutaway rear wheel archs.The engine was upgraded, E-type headfitted,2" carburettors , XJ6 gearbox and also Harvey Bailey handling kit.My car for the last 18 years. during which several more modifications have been made. A costly power assisted XJS steering rack was fitted and coopercraft front brake calipers XJ6 rear calipers an alternator and stainless steel exhaust. 15x 6" chrome compettion wire wheels with Pirelli P 4ooo tyres.The engine was rebuilt and converted for unleaded petrol in 1996 at which time the gearbox and overdrive were checked and a new clutch fitted. ( £5,250. ). upgrading the MK11, 'Evolution not Revolution'.Now requiring some remedial work.Lower edge of boot lid is corroded and the front wing lower sections , both sides. The paint work is cracked around the ofside of bonnet louvres. New M.O.T
