1951 De Soto Custom Sedan classic American car. for sale

Imported from the West Coast of America. A beautiful 1951 De Soto Custom Sedan finished in black with two tone black and tan leatherette upholstery and white wall tyres.
It has the straight six engine with the tip toe column change gearbox. Beautifully designed with the wide mouthed front grill and lashings of chrome everywhere. I have the original sales manual with the car. All taxes are paid.
A fabulous looking car.
The heater system is missing. Two pipes from the bulkhead into the engine but nothing else. The air filter is missing from the top of the carburettor. The spare wheel is also missing. The car drives and we have driven it. It would benefit from a good service in my opinion in so much as tracking tyre pressures. oil change and just a good check over. It's not been on the road for over eighteen months we were told. A couple of trim pieces need re-chroming. Tyres all good. Interior excellent and paintwork all bright and shiny. Underneath spotless and solid and waxoiled. Waxoiled in boot and under bonnet too.
It is over 60 years old and is not what one would call concours but nevertheless in very good condition for its age and stunning looking and rust free.
