FRAME OFF RESTORED 1961 CHEVROLET IMPALA TRI-POWER

Vintage Autohaus and Imports is proud to present this very nice rotisserie restored 1961 Impala. The “Bubble Top” was restored with no expense spared. The restoration was done to correct factory specifications. The engine is the original 348ci 3x2 set up and decodes as this. Build Date (I 26 60)=Sept 26th 1960with the stamp pad reading (T1115FH)=Tonawanda Nov 15th 348/350 3x2. manual trans. High Performance. solid cam. The casting number is 3755011. The car was born 4 speed. The transmission is a correct T10 Borg Warner and appears to be a replacement based on the later build date.

The original frame has come off the body and has the partial vin stamping located on the right rear frame rail. The undercarriage is exceptional with no rust or patches. The body is very straight and solid with no bondo. The body tag decodes like this STY = 61-1837 (1961 Impala 8cyl 2dr sport coupe). BDY = SL-10247 (St. Louis MO. #10247). TRM = 873 (red/white. cloth/vinyl). PNT = 973C (Ermine White/Roman Red). ACC = B (no description). EZ1 (tinted glass). 4C (no description). Build date = 12D (Dec. 4th week). The dash is padded with the passenger side grab bar. a 7000 RPM tach and the correct SS shifter plate. The chrome and stainless is all in great condition being redone or new. The interior is all new and done in the correct trim and color to the build.

The vehicle is equipped with factory power steering and power brakes. The factory a/c system is cold. The original style AM radio is in the dash. All of the stainless and chrome is in great condition and redone or new. The weather seals were replaced. The trunk houses the original spare. jack and tools. The car comes with fender skirts. This Impala is very nice with do disappointments. This car runs and drives great with the originality it should have for this classic and popular Chevrolet.
