1973 AMC AMX Javelin 2 dr H/T

The AMC Javelin is a  pony car that was built by the American Motors Corporation between 1967 and 1974 in two generations. model years 1968 to 1970 (with a separate design in 1970) and 1971 to 1974. The sporty Javelins came only as two-door hardtop (with no "B pillar") body style. and were available in economical versions or as high-performance muscle cars.

Javelins won the Trans-Am race series with AMC sponsorship in 1971 and 1972. and independently in 1976.

The second-generation AMX version was the first pony car to be used as a normal highway patrol police cruiser by any U. S. organization.

Crisp. sharp lines and a great stance mark the 1973 AMX as one of the best pony cars.

On the road or at the local car show. you will always enjoy this rare jewel.

Factory Rally Wheels and raised white letter radial tires complete the picture.

The interior has been kept stock and is in excellent condition.

Front bucket seats are as clean and nice as new.   The carpet appears to have been replaced and is excellent.

The dash and all gauges are original and functioning.

Even the door panels are fresh and clean.

Steering wheel. tilt column and console are all clean and with out cracks or tears.

From every angle this is a great looking car!

VIN number is clear and the dash is excellent.

All numbers on the ID plate are easily read.

The undercarriage is clean and has little or no surface rust.

Suspension has been kept stock and is great condition.

The last thing most people see as you leave a traffic light.

SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS

The winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements.

DEPOSIT

The winning bidder must submit a 20% non refundable deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.

PAYMENT OF BALANCE DUE

The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before the vehicle leaves our dealership.

TAX. TITLE AND LICENSE

A clear title will be released along with the vehicle on receipt of funds. Texas residents are responsible for sales tax in our state. Non-Texas residents are responsible for paying taxes in his/her state.

SHIPPING

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We can refer you to a number of trusted national and international shippers. Once the vehicle leaves our dealership. we will take no further responsibility for the vehicle.
