MG/ MGB ROADSTER-RARE PULL HANDLE

This beautifull MGB Roadster ticks many boxes when searching for a nice one . It is the rarest of all roadsters being only produced in the 1st two years 63 and 64 . The 1st ever MGB roadster was produced in Iris Blue . In our opinion and many others it is the best colour for the car . Another tickbox is to put it together with the immaculate chrome wire wheels . he combination looks fab. The condition of the car both cosmetically and mechanically is "showroom" quality . With concourse examples being sold for 25k this roadster is fantastic value and will not disappoint . The fully working overdrive . nleaded head conversion and general condition make this an excellent car to drive. Indeed the cars last major outing was to the Italian lakes where it was faultless for the entire journey and along with its detailed engine bay would stand proud at any show. Having had a 10k restoration back in 2001 the car still looks fantastic. To summerise an exceptional roadster that appeals on all levels

Engine & Transmission
The engine is original 3 bearing engine which when restored had a major rebuild . ncluding a full cylander head rebuild thus enabling unleaded fuel. There are no leaks . attles. etc . aving only done limited miles since being built the engine has excellent oil pressure and doesnt get warm . The addition of an electric fan has been fitted for those very hot days !!. The engine bay is completely detailed and is immaculate . The overdrive is working as it should and all other mechanicals are correct. The gearbox has also been fully reconditioned when the car was restored in 2000/2001. The car performs and drives lovely . It really is a drive anywhere car.
Wheels. Tyres & Brakes
The chrome wires are all in excellent condition . ith the two ear spinners. All radial tyres are in very good order. Having had new road springs the car sits superb and handles very well on the road.
Exterior
The Iris blue paintwork is lovely. The car was a total rebuild in 2000/2001 and has been used for a few long european trips . The body and paint have stood the time very well and present themselves to a showroom finish. The hood is excellent . All the brightwork is excellent. All glass and lenses etc are A1.
Interior & Equipment
Having been fully retrimmed in 2000/2001 the interior is superb . All gagues appear to be working fine . The carpets. oor trims and seats are close to perfect with very little sign of wear . The restoration carried out by a well known specialist is a quality job.
