I am relisting my auction. this is a deluxe special ordered factory original 390 big block w/ C-6 (Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic Transmission)
Please take the time to look and review the presentation of one of old school rare and muscle car. This exceptional looker was repainted in factory original springtime yellow. painted 7 yrs ago that does have a few nicks now. Has the original factory black  Deluxe interior seating and short black loop carpet all is nice shape. Please look closely at the photos as it is part of the description for this 46-year-old Muscle beauty. This 1967 S code mustang is a special order from the dealer which was stamped on title which I don't have now because of the title changed in my name.

I am the 3rd owner of this car for 31 years as of Jan. 1982. t has been a project ever since. ust doing a little along. dding many parts as the years rolled on. I have not driven it that much. ust around town alittle. nly driven about 500 miles or under since engine and tranny rebuilt. There is still stuff to do on it to make it even more attractive. I am moving on with something different now so this is why I am selling it. the next owner will take over and reap the fun and more.

This car is a true S code. These cars was built for one thing "SPEED"!The 390 4V was the biggest motor in a mustang for that year.


Feeling pressure from their competition. Ford needed to make the Mustang more powerful so it could keep up with its competitors. The answer came in the form of a larger car. The increased body size allowed Ford to put their first big-block engine in a Mustang. This optional 390-cubic-inch 6. 4L V-8 motor was capable of producing an impressive 320 hp. As such. Ford was clearly able to keep up with the big dogs on the road. In fact. according to reports. the 390 CID equipped Mustang could achieve 0-60 mph in 7. 4 seconds with a top speed of 115 mph.

Other notable changes to the 1967 Ford Mustang included side scoops that were painted to match the color of the car. The 2 chrome side pieces are very rare on the 67 mustang. it came on the car with factory numbers on the backside of both pieces. have not seen them on this model yet. eally rare and sharp looking!The front end of the 1967 Ford Mustang was also different than in the past. Gone were the three gills that appeared next to the headlights on the 1965 and 1966 Mustang. The grille was also different. featuring vertical and horizontal bars that worked their way out from the galloping horse in all four directions. In addition. the opening to the grille was larger than in the past. This redesigned front end made for a muscular looking Mustang.

The rear of the 1967 Mustang was also noticeably different than in previous Mustang model years looking bulkier and more performance oriented. Additional options for the 1967 Mustang included a GT package interior plus featured driving lamps. nd dual exhaust. which this car has. In all. the 1967 Ford Mustang was considered by most an improvement over previous model years. It was more powerful. it featured an improved suspension system. and it had an aggressive appearance.

Exterior
This 1967 Mustang is painted factory original springtime yellow that is breathtaking in any source of lighting. It is powered by the original rebuilt 390 cubic inch Engine. S Code w/ under 500 miles on it @ 320hp that is smooth running. I haven't driven it much. eally just working on it little along in my spare time. The overall quality appearance of this car whether you are standing 10 feet or 1 foot away makes it eye appealing even if you're not a Ford fan. When you lay your eyes on this car you also cannot deny the endurance over these 46 years.

Interior
The interior components are in very nice condition along with period and model correct. This car will serve you well with a little more extras to the restoration. you will easily fit right in your local Ford Club or Mustang club as well as a great and fun cruiser. When you climb in and grab onto the steering wheel and gear shifter you quickly get that feeling of the 1960's.
