This auction is for a 1934 Wolseley Hornet Special. 4 seat Eustace Watkins sports. currently dismantled and in need of restoration and reassembly. The car has been in my ownership for the past 36 years - originally acquired as a dismantled project and dry stored ever since. with me refurbishing or sourcing the odd item when the opportunity arose but with other distractions and a need now to downsize I have to part with the project. The set of mechanical and body of parts is complete with the exception of the 2 front seats. an exhaust and the chrome radiator shell. The engine has been fully reconditioned - the cylinder head only needs fitting to the block. carbs rebuilt by a specialist. water pump. starter and dynamo rebuilt. new king pins on front axle and many new parts are included - e. g. inlet manifold. clutch. brake linings. wheel cylinder seals. front and rear wheel bearings. 5 tyres and a bonnet (although original bonnet is pretty good). A nice pre-war sports car project but viewing recommended so that interested parties are in no doubt what is involved. The photographs show the main components except for wheels & tyres - any general garage equipment or trolleys etc. are excluded from the sale.
