SERIES 2. High wing model.

 

Registered: 10. 03. 1962

Registration: 164 UXH

 

A beautiful. fully refurbished car in Arctic White with black trim.

Right hand drive.

4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive.

1592cc 4 cylinder engine (80 bhp). with Weber carb and Holbay rocker box.

Black vinyl seats.

Black carpet.

Black vinyl hood.

Painted wire wheels. knock on's.

JVC CD/Radio.

Jack and wheel hammer.

 

The V5 registration document shows 3 former keepers.   The history file shows restoration work in 1995 by Classic Car Developments of Derby. Also numerous parts invoices in the file. along with may relating to major works in 2005 when the car was treated to a full mechanical rebuild. including: engine. clutch. running gear etc. In addition many other replacement trim parts were fitted such as hood. seat. covers. carpets. windscreen and rubber seals various. After the last owner change in 2011 it has also received. some cosmetic paintwork. replacement clock. trim letters. door seals. hinges. thermostat. full grease up and wiper blades.

 

This car is in lovely ready to use condition. On viewing. it is obvious that it has had lots of restoration work. and it is very solid throughout with no signs of rust and the underside is comprehensively rust-proofed.   The boot and engine compartments are both very clean.
