1978 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II Base Sedan 4-Door 6.7L

1978 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER SHADOW II.   This car has been gently used and well taken care of mechanically.   It is smoke and pet free. It has new tires with less than 100 miles on them. It has a new power steering rack. and the wood has all been redone.   The brakes were gone through before I got the car.   The headliner is perfect.   It has been a weekend driver for us and we are downsizing and getting rid of some of my toys.  

The body has a couple dings and the interior is the original leather seats that have some cracks in spots.   It has a tear on the driver's seat.   It is not a show car but a great weekend driver.   It has not been driven in the rain or snow since I purchased it.   I bought it from an estate in MS.   I keep it in a temperature controlled garage and it is started every other week.   The previous owner's wife was in a wheel chair that is the reason for the hitch. Interesting information on the Silver Shadow series

The “II” mark provided considerable improvement over the earlier Silver Shadow. In 1977. the model was renamed the Silver Wraith II (Shadow II) in recognition of several major changes. most notably rack and pinion steering. modifications to the front suspension which improved handling markedly. a dual exhaust along with the first-to-market fully automatic dual system air-conditioning system and a modernized and improved dash lay-out. The model represents the pinnacle in design features for the Silver Shadow series that started production in 1966.
