Is proud to offer a one of a kind Chevrolet C10 Restomod Extreme!!!!
I have had a couple of phone calls asking if I accept trades. I do and will.

This one of a kind Chevy C10 pickup trucks concept was developed around  Chevrolet's classic 1967. 427 Corvette Stingray. We started with a rust free 1970 chevy C10 and transformed it into what we affectionately like to call our drive-able Hotwheel. This truck has taken 2 years up to this point to build with countless man hours. Everything on this truck was done in house here at DCI Motorsports from the engine. transmission. ody. clear down to the frame and suspension. The truck is still under construction needing some finishing touches to the interior. under hood. and suspension. If the truck sells. the winning buyer has the option of inspecting the truck before placing the required 30 % deposit on it. Once we have the deposit in hand we will finish the truck in a reasonable time agreed on by both parties. Once the truck is completed the balance will be due within 7 days of completion. Thank you for looking at our award winning creation. Don Johnston CEO since 1981.

Before bidding: PLEASE contact me for further details. If you do not have the money PLEASE DO NOT BID. Thank you!!! We have put allot of time and love into this project. So please respect my guy's and their effort to get this concept from paper to reality. I can be reached at 330-628-3354 cell or 330-850-5050 shop.

We have shown the truck one time in the 2013 Summit Racing Piston Power show at the Cleveland IX center . The truck was not completed and won best in class to our surprise!!! This is an ISCA sanctioned show and the quality of the show cars is very high.

427 Custom built 550+ HP  Engine:
The engine started life as 1978 suburban 454 and was completely disassembled for inspection. The engine block was hot tanked and magged to check for cracks. Once we knew we had a solid foundation we line honed. decked. and bored the block . 030 over. Then we honed the cylinders with a deck plate to make sure we had true round cylinder bores for superior ring seal. The engine was assembled with race proven King high performance connecting rod. cam. and main bearings as well as Speed Pro file fit moly rings. We used a factory GM forged 427 crankshaft and connecting rods with Forged light weight aluminum . 030 over pistons. The crankshaft was ground and polished and the connecting rods were reconditioned with ARP 190. 00 psi rod bolts for added insurance. The complete rotating assembly was then balanced for smoother and more durable performance. A Melling Select high pressure. high volume oil pump was used after we disassembled. inspected. nd blueprinted it for added piece of mind.
The cylinder heads were hot tanked and magged to check for cracks and milled to to true up the head gasket surface. We then installed 16 new guides for 11/32" valve stems and machined the guides for Viton positive valve seals giving us better oil control. The seats were then opened up to accept the new larger stainless steel 2. 19 intake and 1. 88 exhaust valves for improved flow. Then the heads were hand ported and polished for even more horsepower and tire shredding performance. We then cleaned and assembled the heads with all new Comp Cams dual valve springs. 10 degree chromemoly retainers. and 10 degree chromemoly locks to match the Comp Cams solid lifter performance camshaft. The Comp Cams solid lifter camshaft is complimented with Comp Cams solid lifters. 3/8" chromemoly pushrods. and a true double roller timing set. The induction system consist of a Edelbrock endurashine dual quad rpm air gap intake with two Edelbrock perfromance tuned for this engine carburetors. The ignition system consist of a GM points style distributor upgraded with an electronic conversion kit from Petronix. new cap and rotor. Taylor 10 mm plug wires firing Autolite spark plugs.

Suspension and Chassis:
The frame has been blasted. smoothed and sealed with epoxy primer before getting sprayed with 2 coats of semi gloss black paint. The front suspension has been all rebuilt with new polyurethane control arm bushings and Moog upper and lower ball joints. We then added air ride suspension front and rear with fast acting air valves. HD air compressor. and a large air tank. All the shock points have been relocated for the air ride suspension. We converted all 4 wheels over to 5 on 5" bolt pattern for better wheel selection. High performance Disc brakes were added front and rear for better stopping power. All new brake lines and rubber hoses front and rear. The factory 12 bolt positraction  rearend was rebuilt with all new Timken bearings and upgraded with a 3. 73 ring and pinion. All setting on 18" Boss Motorpsorts aluminum wheels and Mickey Thompson performance wide radial tires.

Body:
Here is were it gets exciting!!! We hand formed out of steel all the pieces needed to build our Corvette stinger hood. We then stripped the original rust free hood and welded all the pieces to it before spending 50 + hours massaging it to perfection. We even built the hood up for the Corvette cross flags emblem to look right at home. Then we took the factory grill and removed the center of it leaving just the perimeter allowing us to insert our custom billet phantom grill. We then needed to recess the head lights for the needed clearance by cutting the head light buckets off the radiator core support and recessing them 1". As many of you know. the front directional's are located in the grill. So we now had to hand fabricate a lower chin spoiler which also follows the 67 Corvette theme allowing us to mount the directional's down low like the Corvette. Next we flush mounted all of the side marker lights giving us a smoother more European look. We then located a roll lock fuel filler cap and hand fabricated a mount for it in the stock fuel fill location. Moving to the bed we cut and sectioned the factory wheel tubs and widened them 2 1/2" on each side for extra tire clearance. Then we made steel panels to weld to the inside of the bed for a clean smooth look. While we were at it. we also built a smooth floor for the bed and added 1 1/4" polished aluminum strips for a classic Chevrolet interior look and feel. The tail gate has had the release relocated to the inside for a cleaner look and a hand fabricated billet grill insert added to compliment the front of the truck. Then we cut up two early Camaro bumpers and fabricated a Corvette split rear bumper for the truck. The whole truck was then assembled and all of the body panels meticulously aligned before making everything lazer straight. All of the door. hood. fender. and cowl panel gaps were corrected for a more eye appealing appearance. Then the whole truck was disassembled again and painted with a custom DCI Motorsports blue base coat and House of  Kolors  show clear. The bottom of the bed and cab were both coated with bed liner before being painted for durability. Once painted the whole truck was completely reassembled  hand sanded and polished for a straight smooth show winning finish. The combined man hours to build and paint this truck is staggering!!!

Interior:
The Corvette theme continues into the interior as well. We hand fabricated an all new steel dash to look like a 67 Corvette's dash. Then we covered it in dark blue vinyl for a luxurious look and feel. A hand fabricated dash panel. housing classic Stewart Warner Speedometer. Tachometer. fuel level. oil pressure. volt meter. and water temperature mechanical gauges are installed to keep the driver informed of the engines mechanical condition. A Pioneer touch screen cd stereo with blue tooth capability and Rockford Fosgate High. mid. and low range speakers and a Kicker 300 watt amp were installed for long cruising enjoyment. A custom dark blue seat cover that matches the dash and door panels installed on the factory bench seat. Custom hand fabricated door panels covered in the dark blue vinyl also installed to to keep road noise down and add to the over all feel.
Power windows have also been added for driver comfort.

Miscellaneous Features:
Not in the pictures here but will be installed before delivery. are custom hand built 4" hand polished stainless steel side pipes for the exhaust that turn out right in front of the rear tire. A unique and trick 2" cog belt drive system for the alternator and water pump has been installed. For those who have not seen or heard one of these. You are in for a real treat. When the engine is warmed up and running this belt drive sounds like you have a roots supercharger under the hood. That cool whine you hear when a supercharged engine is running is the air escaping from under the wide cogged belt. The air has no where to go and is squeezed out making that whining sound. The under side of the hood has not been forgotten either. We hand fabricated stainless steel panels and gave them a brushed look before installing them for a completely finished look.
