Well with the greatest regret my mk 1 Mexico is up for sale it's  had a no expense spared rebuild from top to bottom front to back in 2011 with new parts and every bill kept has proof at a cost off  £3500  (log book states it as 1100 standard with one owner from new). The car has just sat in the unit only being used three times in total and just covering a total of 200 miles in this time. I bought this as an investment already as a Mexico rep and on the road for a lot of money at the time.  I was hoping to keep this for a very long time hence the money I have spent doing every little detail on it as I wanted to make this a minter to keep and use toward the pension fund. Every panel is total mint with no rust or welding patches anywhere. the wings are  Mexico type and brand new. they cost £550 in 2011  The floor is totally  mint and solid as a rock and it is just as shiny underneath as it is on top. Again with no welding patches anywhere or rust. The engine is a 2. 2 pinto. running a fast cam. carbon rocker cover. RS alloy sump. race alternator. electronic ignition. 3. 0 degas twin choke webber. nbsp;and five speed box type nine and it drives spot on. pulls in every gear very well.   All tyres are mint. wheels are like new . The recaro  Seats where sent off and rebuilt and reupholstered in the Mexico weave and pipping to match the rear seats . Everything works on the car. And on the rebuild the rad coolant fan was replaced with a electric one . All spotlights work on mainbeam flash switch. The list could go on and on and on . The cars last show was the blackpool ford day 2013 where many people said what a good mint car it is and a credit for the age. All I can say is come view the car because I really can not tell you in words how good it is . I could go on boring the living day lights out of you with stuff that it's got on it and how clean and mint it is but am not because the car will sell itself  all day long.   So any questions please ask. I will do my best to answer.   The only two points to make is the engine could do with a tune up or setting up. it some times very rarely pinks under load. and 2 tiny stone chips on the bonnet from going to the Blackpool show.   I was told it pinks because the car is sat around most of the time doing nothing and needs to be used more due to the big webber carb. but with our weather thats impossible. Any and all viewings are welcome. in fact a must just to see how clean it is. just let me no as the car is in a dry heated storage unit so I would need time to sort out taking all the covers off and getting it out. It's got 12 months mot and tax runs out in February 2014. I am in no rush by any means or desperate for a quick cash sale so please bear this in mind!  Its a a genuine sale but offers are more than welcome as I don't have any price in mind.
