Up for auction I have a 67 S code fastback. Original red car with auto trans. Car runs and has been in storage for the last 17 years. Great project with decent body. Marti report in pictures. vin on lt apron . correct Buck tag and data plate is on the door.

History; I bought this car from a friend . he had it for the last 18 years and planned to restore it but just never got around to it. The car has been local all it's life. The last time it was driven by my friend was 1996. He stored it in a garage so the car stayed out of the elements.

Body: Original Candy Apple red car . over all the body is decent. I had the drivers side torque box replaced along with  the drivers side floor pan and the rail extension. There is a picture of the torque box shinny new before it was painted. I can tell the passenger side floor pan was replaced but it  looks decent. Please note there is a repair seam that runs across the floor pan just rear of the seat risers. I suspect the rear section of the car was replaced early in it's life . There is no other evidence that I can see and the gaps look great . My friend said he didnt know about it nor had he ever noticed it. I know a one piece floor pan would have eliminated the seam but I didnt realize the seam was there till the floor was already repaired. I took several underside pictures of the car while it was at the body shop so you can get a real good idea of how nice the underside is. This car will need some cowl work. it had a plastic cowl cover when I bought it and once I removed it I noticed some water leaking into the floor (mainly the drivers side). The roof. doors and quarters look good. I think maybe the drivers fender will need to be replaced mainly because there is some body filler cracking on the frt top . The passenger side fender looks fine. The hood is fine and the trunk may need to be replaced for some under side seam rust. Again over all this is a great body and wont put you in the poor house getting restored.

interior:  The interior is complete. there seats that were in the car were incorrect high back later model seats so I installed the correct 67 seats. Obviously it needs seat covers. door panels. arpet. dash pad. basically everything that is normal wearable stuff. The rear seat is not a fold down. All glass is there and in ok condition.

drivetrain: The motor runs fine. I ran it for a short time to make sure my friend was accurate when he said it ran and drove when he parked it. I did not try to engage the trans . Plan on rebuilding  it and the other mechanical. I though the motor was the original motor but I believe the date is dec 2nd 1966 which is too late for a Nov 66 car. Currently running an Edelbrock intake with headers. Looks like the correct heads are there. This car does have the correct 9" rear and Drum brakes  all the way around. The wheels are 68 GT wheels and were on the car when I bought it.

overview: This is a great project. it could have a basic restoration and be back on the road in no time or be fully restored to be a awesome show car. I have a clear Va title in had. I dont mind selling the car outside of the Us as long as we make arrangements prior to buying. Please call if you have questions . 540-538-6302 cell
