You are looking at 1929  Marmon that need lots of work rare Marmon Model 68  body Number 127 need radiator shell will pay premium for radiator and shell for this car I have not been able to find so used ford rad and shell can go with this car. She runs good good oil pressure good running gear smokes when first started for a minute or two but stops and runs very smooth and no smoke. The seat spring are in storage need cloth. Golf door is in storage will find and put on. Only bad spot is where garage leaked water on the soft top fabric and rusted the metal under that one spot and stayed wet on that spot for days on end.  rest of the car looks very very good easy fix as can copy other side for the perfect fit.
Dear piggletman. /strong>

Sir. Upon further investigation. I believe you'll find your car to be a 1929 Marmon Model 68 Coupe rather than a 1928 Marmon Roosevelt. The first hint is the body plate indicating a "Series 68". Roosevelts weren't introduced until February 1929. The Roosevelt cowl had two vents rather than the one and the parking lights on the Roosevelt were mounted next to the windshield rather the over the side mounts. The center of the Roosevelt steering wheel is different than yours. The one you picture is a Model 78/68 style wheel. I don't believe the Roosevelt had a trim line that ran from the belt line forward of the door along the frame where the 68 did. The number "127" is the body serial number from Hayes and not the car's model number. The Fedco serial no. plate on the dash to the left of the steering column appears damaged. Find the motor number and the Marmon Club can give you answers and likely provide parts. Hope this helps. Rick (1917 Marmon 34 and 1929 Marmon 78)
