Chrysler's 300 Series was considered by the American car manufacturer to be “the most powerful production car on the road. ” Advertisements said the specialty series had the maneuverability of a polo pony and the speed of wind. Appearance specifications for the '79 300 were a cross-hair grill with a “300” emblem in the middle. front fender gills and special 7” x 15” road wheels along with a rallye instrument cluster with a tachometer.

MotoeXotica has a rare. limited-production '79 Chrysler 300 in our showroom. This car screams originality and correctness. Except for a few custom orders. all '79 300s were in Spinnaker White — and this one is no exception. The tires are Winston Winner G/T with correct 7” x 15” road wheels and a 300 emblem in the center cap. Under the hood. the engine bay is correct. and the original 360-CID. hi-performance V8 engine still runs smoothly. The body is a two-door specialty hardtop. This car comes with power steering and brakes. adding to the already lovely handling and acceleration with the three-speed Torqueflite 727 automatic transmission.

Looking at the interior brings back the late ‘70s and shows just how original this car is. The seats and interior are a correct Corinthian red leather. a standard for all of that editions' 300s. The seats do show some wear as to be expected from its 34 years of age. The dash is all original along with the gauges. The air conditioning is inoperable and most likely in need of a change.
