Up for sale 1958 Mercedes 220 S Coupe with Factory Sunroof

I bought the car few years ago from family who owned it for over 30 years; the car was in storage for long time in north California so I removed the gas tank and cleared. changed oil & the spark plugs and started the engine. The engine dose run nice and smooth however both carburetors may need to be rebuilt also fuel pump to make it perfect.

The compression for all the cylinders is from 170 to 175 for all cylinders. I was planning to restore the car so I striped the front hood. rear trunk. and the 2 doors to bar metal. However at this point due to some personal issue I'm unable to complete this project and need to sell the car and use the money for other important matter.

The interior is original*the dashboard is complete with all instruments intact. Missing radio

The body is solid and straight except the undercarriage floor panes and panels has rust and needs attention. all the glass nice and in good condition. This is a nice ponton coupe for restoration project.
