MotoeXotica Classic Cars is offering this restored 1940 International Harvester D2 truck that can be driven anywhere and is ready to drive today. This particular pickup truck was restored several years ago by the owner of ABF Freight and still shows great today.

In the height of the “art-deco” era of the late 1930's. International commissioned the re-design of their light and medium duty truck line. The result was what you see here in this beautifully-designed International D2 1/2-ton pick-up — arguably one of the most beautiful and artful of any purpose-built truck ever built. International followed the design cues of top of the line luxury cars such as Packard and Cord in their pontoon style front fenders. The barrel shaped grill design features stainless steel trim that wraps around and down the hood sides completing that remarkable art-deco design

Finished in Dark Green over Gun Metal Gray fenders. this 1940 International D2 1/2-ton pickup has undergone a restoration. The beautiful paint that you see today is in excellent condition with no major imperfections to be found. The front chrome bumper is equally as nice.

Inside the interior has been replaced with Coffee vinyl on the bench seat. The truck is a six-volt truck that will get you where you need to go. The gauges appear correct and are functioning.

Under the hood you will find the International inline six-cylinder engine connected to a three-speed manual transmission. With a couple of pumps to the gas pedal and a push to the starter button this vehicle fires right up and runs and drives beautifully down the road.

The VIN is 80615 and is being sold on a clear Arkansas title. Mileage currently reads 69. 34. Buy with confidence; seldom does a 1940 International pick up become available to the public in restored condition. GET OUT AND DRIVE!

Hi... I'm looking for the 40 international that I had as a kid. The serial number on mine was 87370A. Could you check the number (VIN) on this one to see if perhaps it matchs? Thanks.
