This is the REAL DEAL folks. This is an incredibly preserved piece of automotive history with what is believed to be 86. 00 original miles & three owners since new! This particular numbers matching Shelby is listed in the Shelby American World Registry under “01930” and has been verified by Midwest Street Rod out of Plainfield. IL. Barowski Engines of Rockdale. IL and The Hot Rod Barn of Morris. IL. The Shelby was purchased in California and was then shipped to Hawaii where it lived with its original owner. a pilot for the Scandinavian Air Service. hence the wings one each door. The previous owner even obtained Carroll Shelby's autograph on the driver's side sun visor in 2008! He had purchased the car from the second owner in 2001. As mentioned before. this is the REAL DEAL!

Finished in the original Lime Green Metallic paint with white GT500 stripes on the rocker panels. the paint is in true original condition. It still has a beautiful luster with only small imperfections that are from time itself. The body is in spectacular shape. as well as all of the glass on the car. This Shelby is original. un-restored condition with all its original uncut panels. The car has had touch-ups over the years but the paint remains mostly original.

Inside. you will find the original black vinyl interior is in excellent shape. The carpet. headliner and dash are also in excellent shape. It even still has a fully functional AM radio & 8 Track Player (which. by the way. still has Sha Na Na as the 8 track of choice!).

Under the hood. you'll see the original 428 cubic inch Police Interceptor V8 with 365 horsepower and 457 lb/ft of torque! The numbers matching engine was rebuilt in 2005 to original specifications. Mated to the engine is a C-6 automatic transmission. This car drives great and sounds great with true dual exhaust. Many of the original parts that came from the engine during the rebuild are included with the vehicle including the valve train. carburetor. alternator and cast exhaust manifolds. It has power steering. power front disc brakes and factory AC. The Shelby sits upon a set of original 15” 10-spoke wheels with Goodyear Speedway 350 bias play tires and looks incredible!

As mentioned before. this Shelby is an original. true time capsule. It is becoming exceedingly more and more difficult to find such an incredible Shelby in all of its original glory as most of these cars were rode hard & put up wet. only to be restored later in life! Not the case with this GT500 that was lovingly cared for since day one. The Shelby also includes a framed. complete professional Marti report and many original parts. This is a serious investment grade vehicle and would make a beauty of a Sunday driver or an incredible garage queen conversation car.
