Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.05) based on 159 votes

I have a 1967 GTO sports coupe. There is no more Pontiac and the value of these cars keeps going up.

There were fewer of the "post/coupe"(7029) cars built then the convertibles(9517).

The PHS papers I have state that it was a HO 400 motor with a 4 speed.   It has a rebuilt Pontiac 428 engine. This is a YH (big car code) vin # 33346. dated L098 which is december 9th 1968 so it is a 69 engine. It has number 46 heads (Ram Air III).

The engine is built with street performance in mind. It has a comp cam in it. comp cam Roller tip rocker arms. ARP bolts. Screw in studs. Edlebrock intake. Holley carb. Aluminum radiator with electric fan. Hei distributor.

The trans is Muncie 4 speed m20 built up to a m21.   The rear is a 12 bolt posi with 3. 55 gears. It has headers and a 2. 5" exhaust from summit.

At some point the interior was switched from the original red to a black interior. Driver seat needs to be repaired or redone.   Needs a dash pad which is about 120 and kick panels.   I have the original kick panels but the driver side is brittle. Otherwise the interior is in great condition.  .

I had the frame off when I did the restoration.   I replaced the quarters. wheel wells. inner and outer rockers. large sections of the floors and floor supports. and the trunk and supports.   One patch panel on the driver fender. The hood. trunk lid. and pass. fender are oem from a collector of parts.

I recently put new shocks in the front and rear. New bushings on the A arms and upper ball joints.  New body mounts.  New fuel  lines. Cleaned and primed and undercoated the floors. Sound deadening material used under the new carpet.   Car was painted in July. The car needs seals and fuzzies.   Motor runs strong and shifts smooth. Lots of power!  Car is a head turner for sure!
