ABOUT DELIVERY COSTS

Postal rates to the US and Oceania have almost doubled between July 2020 and January 2021. Postal charges to Australia with tracking are now prohibitively expensive, way too high and therefore risky for the seller for an  item of limited value.
Since July 2020 e-bay has added an "international transaction fee" for sellers, also on postage costs. Before then there were no extra fees for international sales. (Very oddly, this is also charged when the buyer is in the UK with a UK address and UK payment means but is registered at a non-UK e-bay site).
Also, in recent times e-bay (UK) have decided to take a percentage on the postal costs too when an item sells (e-Bay used to take a percentage only on the final value of an item). So for example if the postage costs to Australia are £15, ebay takes £1.5 for that. The higher the postal charges, the higher the ebay fee.
I don't charge for cardboad and sellotape and the queue at the post office, but I cannot ignore these extra fees.
You may find cheaper postal rates on offer from professional sellers who may  have access to discounted rates (or offering free postage as they are encouraged to include such costs in the value of the item) or from the many private sellers who are unaware of the changes and post at a loss.
Pay Pal, being a financial provider, also takes a percentage (from sellers) on the postal costs, and again, the higher the postal charges, the higher the Pay Pal fee.
International shipping with tracking is a lot more expensive and for items of relatively low value it's beneficial for both the sellers and the buyers to make use of much cheaper standard non trackable air mail.
For years I have posted the vast majority of  my international packages by standard non trackable air mail.
Claims (about not receiving a package) have been extremely rare -invariably involving the same three / four countries of destination with well known delivery issues.
But nowadays sellers are no longer covered unless a package is sent by fully trackable post (and even with tracking the cover is not guaranteed!)
Almost half of my sales used to go abroad (almost invariably trouble-free), but very regrettably, my international shipping is now very limited because of all the new additional risks and costs involved.


- Cheaper (and slower!) surface mail available to AUS,NZ,Canada and the US on request.
- If you are not interested in the box/case, in many cases international shipping costs may be reduced substancially (because of the weight)

Any important communication (eg: different delivery address), needs to be posted via eBay 's "My Messages" as these are archived and easy to recover.
All items packed safely and carefully.
I post within 3 working days after a payment is received (in many cases within 24 hours) -as shown on the parcel. Dispatch time quoted is for payments made within 3 days from the end of the auction: for later payments it may vary depending on my schedule.
 (UK) If you choose 2nd class please be aware that it takes longer. In the invoice page  you can choose among 1st, 2nd and recorded delivery depending on your requirements.
