Current customer rating: (28 votes ) based onBacking 632 cubic inches of thoroughbred Nelson Racing Engine with a tough Tremec 5-speed and proven Detroit Speed athletics, this tastefully modified Camaro turns a traditionally appealing platform into an off-the-charts super star! Professionally finished by some of Charlotte's best hot rod shops, this fantastic F1 wears a traditional coat of Hugger Orange 2-stage that's highlighted by Pearl White Rally Stripes. Lift the steel hood and you'll find 632 cubic inches of Nelson Racing Engines Hot Rod V8 that, without the aid of the car's polished Alien Intake, turned an incredible 820 dyno-proven horsepower into 770 lb./ft. of tire-spinning torque! Bottom-side, a McLeod RXT twin-disc clutch kicks a tough Tremec TKO 5-speed, which spins a trusty Dana 60 differential. That driveline pushes a full Detroit Speed suspension. Turns come courtesy of Detroit Speed power rack-and-pinion steering. At the corners, Baer multi-piston calipers squeeze Baer drilled and slotted rotors. And power meets the pavement through polished Budnik Cobalts, which spin massive BF Goodrich g-Force T/As. Installed by Mooresville, North Carolina's Hot Rod Interiors by Chuck, this Chevy's tastefully customized cockpit is tailored and taut. Front and center, Recaro-style buckets wear monochromatic leather. Opposite those thrones, a traditional dash features bright Auto Meter telemetry beside controls for modern air conditioning. About the RK Motors Performance Center
Regardless if your vehicle is going through routine maintenance or a full custom build to your exact specifications, the RKM Performance Center has the knowledge, experience and resources to fulfill your automotive needs.
In the world of electronic fuel injection and computer diagnostics, even late model dealerships look a little uncomfortable working on pre-OBD1 cars. There are many independent mechanics and shops that may be able to help, but putting your prized classic in the hands of a stranger is a leap of faith at best.
This is exactly why we created the RKM Performance Center.
Being proud members of SEMA, ARMO, HRIA and the North Carolina Motorsports Association, the RKM Performance Center is a nationally recognized shop; best known for high-level OEM restorations and custom builds.
Comprised of ASE certified mechanics, including several Master Technicians, you can feel confident that your car is in capable hands. As fellow enthusiasts, they are passionate about cars and will treat yours with the respect it deserves.
