1940Packard One-Eighty Formal Sedan - Model 1807
Offered here is a recently beautifully restored straightSuper-8 Formal Sedan in excellent overall condition. Finished in the handsomecolor combination of black with gray cloth interior with a divider window, thisFormal Sedan speaks with both elegance and purpose.
Of recent years there was anexcess of $60,000 spent to ensure this car's overall cosmetic and mechanicalexcellence. Most recently the 356 cubic inch Super 8 engine was treated to a complete rebuild which included newpiston bearings, filters, valve guides and seats, rebuilt carburetor, brakes,and new wide whitewall tires to name a few. Notably, the car has an operationaloverdrive transmission which was also fully rebuilt making it an exceptionalride at highway speeds. It has a jump seat, transports 5-6 passengers. Vehiclelength is 217”, including trunk rack.
This vintage automobile wasinvited to be entered in the 2015 Winter Park, Florida prestigious “Concoursd'Elegance” and achieved winning the BronzeMedal in the Packard category.
