Gorgeous show and go 1955 Chevrolet 3200 series pickup powered by a 355 c.i. small block Chevy engine and backed by a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. This '55 was built in Oakland, CA mid-year and spent most of its life (except for the last 2) on the west coast. Always garaged and never abused.

This was a ground-up, frame-off, total restoration which was completed approximately 16 years and 1900 miles ago using an almost rust-free cab and bed. The Chevy is currently on it's second owner since the resto.

All body and suspension parts were media blasted straightened, primed, and painted. No bondo anywhere in the cab or bed. They are ‘laser' straight as you can see in the photos and video.

Every nut, bolt, screw, window, hinge, bumper, etc. is new. Nothing was left untouched.

The exterior chrome was ‘shaved', including the large sideview mirrors and only a Chevrolet ‘V8' emblem was used.

The small block Chevy engine was totally rebuilt using a hydraulic roller cam and 1.6 roller rockers. Other options include HPC coated headers and exhaust system with Edelbrock 304 mufflers, Moon valve covers, Edelbrock intake and carburetor, electronic ignition, March pulley assembly, and power steering with a close ratio gear box.

The entire interior was redone including the bench seat which was covered in Montana Scarlet red vinyl. A Lokar shifter handles the chores for the rebuilt Turbo 350. All gauges function.

The suspension uses a stock solid front axle up front with power brakes (disc front & drum rear). A 12-bolt Chevy differential with 3.55:1 posi-traction gears on new leaf springs are out back. QA1 adjustable shocks are on all four corners as well as 15” chrome reverse rims with ‘baby' moon caps.  The truck rides on Goodyear GTS radial tires with 245/70's up front and 255/70's in the rear.

Documentation and photos of the build are included with the purchase.

Please note the right rear brake light bulb has been replaced as well as the right front ‘Moon' cap. Otherwise the truck needs absolutely nothing.
