Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.15) based on 82 votes

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro convertible underwent a refurbishment under previous ownership that included repainting the car in blue with black stripes over a black vinyl interior and installing a replacement 350ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission.

Features include a rear spoiler, a replacement convertible top, aftermarket wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a Hurst shifter, and an aftermarket stereo. The car was acquired by the seller in 2009, and subsequent work consisted of replacing the steering box and the alternator as well as lowering the car and modifying the suspension.

This Camaro convertible is offered in Canada with spare carpet and sound deadening material, a top boot, a spare set of American Racing wheels, factory suspension and brake parts, and an Alberta registration certificate in the name of the seller's business.

The car was factory finished in green and was refinished in blue with black stripes under previous ownership. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, SS and 350 badging, a replacement hood, and a trunk-mounted spoiler. The seller notes that the hood hinges and springs were replaced in 2021.

U.S. Mags staggered-width 18″ wheels are wrapped 215/40 front and 245/45 rear Yokohama Advan Fleva tires. Aftermarket springs and shocks were installed in to lower the car approximately 2″. Service in 2013 consisted of installing a replacement steering box and a front disc brake conversion, and the rear drum brakes were converted to discs in 2021. An additional set of American Racing wheels with tires is included in the sale and shown in the dropbox gallery (link below)

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with matching door panels and carpet. Equipment consists of a center console with integrated gauges showing oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level as well as a Hurst shifter, manual windows, a heater, and an aftermarket stereo and speakers. The seller states that the dash, gauges, and center console were replaced under previous ownership.

A three-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer. The five-digit odometer indicates 2,900 miles, approximately 2,100 of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.

A replacement 350ci V8 was installed under previous ownership with aftermarket headers, a rebuilt starter, a replacement flywheel and alternator, chrome valve covers, and a chrome air cleaner cover. Work performed in preparation for the sale included replacing the oil pan and the fuel pump along with an oil change.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The rear axle seals were replaced and a differential fluid change was performed in preparation for the sale. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the dropbox gallery (link below)
