1927 Replica/Kit Makes

img{max-width:100%}You are looking at a very cool, and one of a kind VW Type 35 Replica Speedster. This was hand built by a prior owner many years ago out of a 1973 VW chassis that was very customized with a hand made steel body. The motor is a VW 1600. It has a working hand brake on the outside of the car that is the emergency brake. The rear view mirror is on top of the car and does swivel left or right, see photo. It has a fully custom interior with brass and aluminum touches to give it that 1920's racer feel and a center kill switch and push button start, so no need for a key. There is a quick video of it running for a second, see the video at the bottom of this description, but it was sitting for some time prior to the video , so it will be listed as a non-running project. The car does roll and steer easily when pushed. The red emblem on the grill, put on by a previous owner who built the car will need re-glued or leave off, see photos. There is a clear title the matches the chassis number and it is titled as a 1973 Volkswagen.   If you have zero percent feedback, please contact me first before bidding. Parts may need cleaned, fixed, replaced, or restored, and there are blemishes, nicks, rust, and pits, but it is still very cool in my eyes, take a look at all 101 photos for yourself below this description.  I have provided 101 extra pictures below this description and a video, so lets let them do the talking, but please ask all questions before bidding. This is a NO RESERVE auction. There is a title I was given for it. Car must be picked up.
