1968 Cadillac Eldorado. 18 feet of lovin'!!!
Original 472 CI 7. 7 Litre 375 HP front wheel drive 59. 00 miles. The car has been on a 600 mile trip with no issues. The car is finished in the original extra cost color of Topaz Gold Firemist and restored interior using original materials from SMS. Rare factory hardtop without vinyl and correct body color rear window smooth moulding. as seen in the 1968 Cadillac brochure and factory photos.

As you can see in some of the pictures the original factory markings of the last 3 VIN numbers are shown on the inner drivers fender and under the hood when the padding was replaced. Chrome is original and in good shape for its age. but there is a rust blemish on the driver front bumper about the size of a quarter.  
Rare original jack kit with cardboard holder and wooden chock in the trunk. Trunk area has also been reupholstered. Dealer license frame from Cadillac of Downtown L. A.
Many new and expensive parts have been restored: Brakes - the discs. master cylinder. and power vacuum. 5 new tires with spare. High performance aluminum radiator. Dual exhaust & performance mufflers with tucked under chrome tips. New exhaust gaskets. new Edelbrock carburetor. (original Quadra jet in box) New wheel bearings. New door weatherstrips. Front and spare wheel valve stems replaced. which are unique to 68 Eldorados. AC compressor was replaced and converted. The automatic climate control works! The electric antennae needs to be replaced or restored and doesn't go up. Radio does work but there's static. New gas shocks all around. Replaced windshield washer pump. Rosewood appliqué on dash and interior doors replaced.
Extra parts included: New Fram trans filter. Pertronix Ignitor lobe kit and coil. 1 set of gold keys. 1968 Cadillac brochure. owners manual. window sticker replica and a 68 Eldorado parking sign.
Title: Clear California Title. registered black plates. pink in hand
Paint: repainted 2 years ago.  Includes custom car cover. Paint is not “show” but very presentable. Winner in recent car show.
Interior: all new carpet. seat vinyl and fabric matching the original diamond pattern and door panels. Extra cloth upholstery included.
Glass:  all glass is complete with no cracks.  all windows operate electrically.  Only windshield has been replaced. the other glass is the original "SoftRay" glass.
Engine: Detailed in original Cadillac blue. runs smooth
Transmission: shifts well and smooth
Brakes: New discs. pads. master cyl. rear wheel cylinders. vacuum master.  These are 68 Eldorado specific and hard to find parts
Lights: All lights work and signals (Guidematic and Twilight sentinel not working)
Gauges: All gauges work including wipers and washer pump.

Priced according to Hagerty value for #3 car and the market:#3 cars could possess some. but not all of the issues of a #4 car. but they will be balanced by other factors such as a fresh paint job or a new. correct interior. #3 cars drive and run well. but might have some incorrect parts. These cars are not used for daily transportation but are ready for a long tour without excuses. and the casual passerby will not find any visual flaws. "Good" is the one word description of a #3 car.
