I was dropping off some supplies to a friend and stumbled on this MoPar. With its deflated tires and sunburned paint, I thought it could be bought. I sat down on the porch with a fellow drinking his coffee and he told me all about it. His aunt bought it new and he had taken over 2 decades ago. I came to find out he owned and operated a very busy service station in my home town. He had put new tires on the charger one day, drove it home, and never drove it again.The body is in very good shape with no bad rust anywhere. I never saw any door dings or scrapes. The man had commissioned a paint job 2 decades prior and it came out good. The finish is finished now however and will need a redo to cruise in style. You could get away with this paint job but it deserves a new one. This shade of green is darker than original. The engine runs but will need more to be a runner. The amazing thing about this charger is the documentation. There are receipts for everything. There is a letter where the auntie fought for her $156 dollars after the transmission was failing to work in reverse. The car was only a couple years old and she won a settlement and got a letter from a Chrysler higher up apologizing for the charge and transmission failure!This is a terrific classic charger and if you want it, we got it.
