Here is something that doesn't come by everyday.
A one owner . 66. 00 unrestored. matching numbers  BJ8. car # HBJ8U/42591G. Engine # 17194.   This car was purchased by the current owner in Seattle at British Motor Car Distributors on December 14th. 1967 for the grand total of $3732. 72 ( see the original invoices ). I'm not sure. but from what I can figure out this may have been one of the last 500 big Healeys built. either way it's a very late car. He moved to San Diego shortly after that and the car spent the rest of it's life there. The owner is a family friend as has asked me to sell the car for him. So we brought the car back up to the Pacific Northwest to be sold. It's now come full circle and is located about 45 minutes from Seattle. I've known and worked on this car since the mid-eighties when my brother and I had a British car shop in San Diego. Still have the receipts from that time.
The cars condition is excellent. both mechanically and cosmetically. The car was repainted about 30 year ago in a darker shade of blue and still looks great. There is a small ding on top of the drivers side front fender ( see pictures ). Nice straight frame and no rust.
This car runs and drives great. just like a big Healey should. The car has a nice well oiled feel that only an unrestored car can have. The car has an Anza exhaust system from the down pipes back. It's quite nice and mellow and this is the only modification that's been made to the car.
The interior looks great with a nice patina to the seats. even has the original AM radio. The top has two tiny holes in it. but has been down most of it's life. The top boot is perfect. there is a full tonneau cover. car cover. work shop manual. paperwork and receipts. The jack and wheel tools are there too.
So here is an opportunity to buy an unrestored Healey that has a great history from day one. This car will not disappoint.
