Up for sale is our 1963 Ford Fairlane 500.The vehicle is in excellent condition with 26,179 miles showing on what appears to be the original 221 V8. I can assume the correct mileage would be 126,179 miles. The previous owner had the engine rebuilt and the numbers and date codes on it and the transmission show it to be original to the car .Engine block # C30E-6015-A and Transmission # C20P-7006-D.The engine starts every time, goes on fast idle and runs very smoothly.I removed the transmission and had it professionally rebuilt as it was leaking. While out i sanded and painted the driveshaft and installed two new universal joints.Body buck tag is in place on the rad support and as well the vin is stamped into the inner aprons. There is no rust on the vehicle. The undercarriage is solid with no rust on the frame rails nor on the torque boxes. The glass is minty and the interior is in above average condition for its' age. Tires are in like new condition and all side glass roll up and down easily. The radiator has been upgraded to an aluminum one and i replaced the seals in the power steering pump and installed a new horn relay. If you require further information please do not hesitate to email me and I will get back to you as soon as i can. Thank you...Pros:- Excellent condition for the year.- All glass is good.- Runs nicely. Engine is quiet.- Tires are in nice condition.- Recent dual exhaust- Solid undercarriage with no visible signs of rust.- Upgraded aluminum radiator.- Battery is recent.- Fresh professionally overhauled transmission.Cons:- There is a small hole in the headliner and is shown in the photos.- A small 'hook' on the upper lip of the front bumper. Can be seen in photo of front of car.- Drivers door panel arm rest needs replacing.- Idler arm bushing needs replacing.
