Up for sale is a really cool James Bond 007 movie car replica.

As seen in the movie “The Man with the Golden Gun. ”

It is a super rare 1973 AMC Hornet X 2 door hatchback. You don't see many of these around anymore.

This movie car replica is identical to the car that was used in the 1970's James Bond movie with the famous corkscrew river jump stunt. It is the same color red with the same stripes. same Cragar Mag wheels and the same factory bucket seats with the checkerboard hounds tooth interior and the same sport steering wheel.

More than $6000 has been spent on this car in the past 2 years.

Engine rebuild was $2800. Brakes and suspension cost $1500. 00 New Holly carb. new intake. header and exhaust cost over $1000.

It has a completely rebuilt 258 cubic inch L6 motor with a 4. 0 head. Comp Cams Camshaft. an Offenhauser intake. 4 barrel Holley Carburetor. exhaust header and more.

The car runs great and does not leak or smoke or overheat. The drivetrain is strong and solid. The transmission shifts smooth.

You can drive it anywhere. The car has only 66. 00 miles on it.

The entire front suspension and steering components have been rebuilt.

All new brakes front and rear. New exhaust system. A matching set of 4 new tires were recently installed. All work is fully documented.

The interior has a crack free dash and is all original including the seats. door panels. headliner. etc. All of the glass is in excellent condition. The driver's seat has some tearing on the bolster but all the other seats are in very nice condition.

The body is all original and has mostly original paint. No wrecks or accidents. very solid. It does have some rust in the usual places but nothing too bad. Areas that need attention are the bottoms of the rear quarters and the bottoms of the doors and at edge of the rear glass and small pin holes on the right front fender. It is not too bad and will be easy to repair. The floors and undercarriage are solid.

This car could be show worthy with a new paint job and a few other minor details.
