1984 MERCEDES 280 SL BEIGE

HiWelcome to my auction of our  much beloved "Vivienne"Where do I start to describe her?. She is currently SORN and off the road as she has never gone out in the wet/rain or even if there was a dark cloud in the sky. Mot runs out 28th May but will be Mot'd for the new owner. She has 48000 miles . yes that is correct 48000 miles. she did 210 miles last year as can be seen from the trip on the speedo photo. She is listed as " Beige"but the actual colour is " Manilla". I would say you either love the colour or hate the colour. Bit of a Marmite type of thing. She has a genuine merc wooden steering wheel. However the Original from New comes with the car. She also has a Navsure satnav/Dvd player with a pop-up screen currently fitted but again comes with the original New-York Blaupunkt stereo and booster along with the original wiring diagram booklet. This will also be supplied with the car. I could sell the original stereo for £500+ as they are very rare to get hold of but as said will come with the car. There is a spare full set of Genuine Mercedes carpets in the boot( minus the boot carpet). Boot carpet is as new anyway. OPTIONAL EXTRAS FITTED AS STANDARD WHICH YOU DON'T OFTEN FIND ARE
The car has " AIRCON FITTED which runs "Freezing Cold" when required. The car has HEADLAMP WASH/WIPE which works perfectly . The car has original unused Mercedes First Aid KitIt has the original LEATHER SEATS and not the in my opinion horrible MB Tex. These were recently restored/re-connollised at over £250 and as you can see from the photos are as new. Receipts/Guarantees suppliedThe soft top is a GENUINE MERCEDES finished in a dark brown which was the original colour fitted to the car as new and is in as new condition
There is a hardtop supplied also and this was only fitted once to the car when it was purchased by me and sits in the garage. The hardtop has a glass rear window and is also heated and working correctly
i have a folder full of receipts and MOT certs going back to 1992 maybe a bit older as well. This will further prove the Mileage as genuineI could go on and on about the car but i think the best thing to do is let you ask the questions if you are interested and need further information. I will also get the engine bay detailed for the new owner as its a little dusty and would clean up a treat. Nearly forgot to add last year it has replaced
Hazard Warning Light switch as they wouldn't work
New Exhaust from the Manifold to the rear( still under guarantee)
New Tyres which have done 210 miles
Wheels were also refurbished and are finished in a light Gunmetal. No kerbing or dings. Wheels are as new

I have original 2 keys and all the documents and original books etc and full Mercedes service historyThe only reason she is for sale is that i fancy a new project but am in no rush to sell. THIS CAR GETS ADMIRED EVERYWHERE IT GOES DUE TO ITS CONDITION AND COLOUR
