The new Heritage shell rebuild was completed in 2016/2017 and it has completed 7,000 miles since.
It has been cared for ever since. The underside is as clean as the body and is finished in body colour, the floor pans are perfect, the engine bay is pretty and detailed.
A new heritage shell from British Motor Heritage amounts to £12,300.00 inc VAT (supplied in primer). HZA5237

Add the cost of paint work, suspension, interior, engine, gearbox, wheel restoration, ancillary items such as chrome, trim etc, plus the cost of a donor car, a like for like car will amount to £25,000 - £30,000.
Unless you want to spend over £30,000, I truly believe this is the best Heritage shell MGB under £15,000 out there.
The interior has newly trimmed MGB Club Classic Grey leather seats, matched with fresh grey carpets and door cards. The steering wheel is a wooden rimmed, Mota Lita style upgrade. The seats alone are £1,039! https://www.moss-europe.co.uk/shop-by-model/mg/mgb-c-v8/interior/seats-seat-covers/classic-seat-assemblies-mgb.html. The interior contrasts so well with the ‘as new' biscuit vinyl hood.
The rostyle wheels are near perfect, with recent new, all matching 165/80 R14 tyres.
If you are still reading the advertisement, hopefully you are still interested. The main feature that sets my car out from the rest is the quality of the restoration. Please just look at the images carefully and see the panel fit. Hours upon hours of work went into the shell to get it as good as it sits today. It really is a credit to the restorer. So, there we have it, a rubber bumper heritage shell MGB…! A pessimist may suggest it would be better being a chrome bumper. My thoughts… Two options –
Option A - Spend an extra £12,500 and go and buy a £25,000 similar standard Chrome Bumper heritage shell car or
Option B, Ignore Option A, put £10,000 back into your piggy bank and spend £2,500 on my car and convert it to chrome bumper with a conversion kit, lower the ride height and put some wire wheels on it.
My preference… Option C - enjoy the car for what it is and don't change it. A beautiful, heritage shell MGB, which has been restored to a high standard which is appreciating in value and a pleasure to own.
